Today we have some links about Liming to raise the pH of your soil. The best thing is to test the pH and work out your soil type to get an accurate estimation of how much lime to apply for veg growing. As a rough guide, about 50kg per 100 square metres will be a big help on an acidic loamy Irish soil that hasn’t had any lime applied recently. That’s 500 grams per square meter. We have more details about liming on the Distance Learning courses.
